Proxies didn't expect us to show up at their base so soon after they caught Alicia.
So the proxies on guard duty were taken by surprise.
Veronica shot them down one by one. 

They started panicking and running around. Kyra's birds surrounded the building Keeping the proxies inside. 
I moved in. Screamed.
Proxies dropped to their knees. Glass burst.
Kyra and Veronica moved in. Shooting down more proxies.


"You decided to show up anyway? Still following your foolish leader even after her death?"

"She's not dead Lisa."


A laugh. Discordia came walking down the stairs. Wearing her white mask with the golden apple on it.

"You plan to save her then. You do know where she is right? How cute. Do you really think the Slender man will just let you walk into his world and take his prey?"

"Yes."

"You realize you can't enter the path, right?"

"We can't, but you can."

"What?"


Kyra had got behind her and hit her with a jolt of electricity.


"Goddamn it! that hurts!"

"Not as much as this!"

I jumped on her and screamed right in her face. 
Disoriented, I started beating her.
Eventually she gave up on resisting.

Discordia is now our captive.
We'll use her to get into the path and get Alicia back.
And then..

I'll need to think about what to do with this bitch.

Haunted places

Kyra here.
After the proxies retreated I heard Veronica Celebrating. But that soon changed. She yelled at us to come back. I turned around just in time to see Socky disappear with Alicia in his grip.

The Proxies got what they wanted. That's why they retreated. FUCK. After all we went through, this is how it ends? 
Veronica was crying her eyes out. I went over to her to comfort her.


Veronica:"I couldn't take the shot, I should have been faster. I should have saved her."
Me:"It went too fast. You did what you could."
Veronica:"We need to save her." She looked up at me and wiped her tears away.
Me:"There's nothing we can do. They have her, it's too late..."
Veronica:"BULLSHIT! We can't leave her alone after all she's done for us!"
Me:"I know! But according to those files he probably took her to the path. We don't even know how to get into that place. Let alone save her from the Slender man himself."
Veronica:"I might know a way.."
Me:"What?"



Her plan could work. And she's right we can't abandon Alicia. She's our friend and I won't let another person close to me die at the hands of a Fear. Hang on Alicia, we're coming for you.

Ambush part II : Between a Sock and a hard place

Alicia:"Time for Plan G."
Me:"What?! We can't just-"
Alicia:"We can't cut through the the forest. Its too densely packed with trees. We have no other choice. Everyone out of the car, now. Kyra, Echo you two keep the proxies away. Veronica stay here and cover them with your rifle."
Me:"But I-"
Alicia:"You can do this Veronica."
Me:"..."
Alicia:"Get ready. I'll deal with Socky."
Kyra:"Are you sure you don't need our help?"
Alicia:"You'll be helping by taking care of the proxies. I dealt with this bastard before, I can do it again."



I took my rifle and got ready to shoot. Echo and Kyra ran towards the proxies. Suddenly stopped, Echo Shouted. You could almost see the moment when the sound waves impacted the cars. The two cars up front lost control and smashed into the trees. The car behind them kept driving until its windows cracked and the car rolled over. Blocking the road for the other three cars. 

Before the proxies could get out of their cars Kyra had released her birds on them. As they tried to fight off the flock of birds I took a deep breath and started shooting them down. One by one.
Kyra and Echo moved in. Started shooting at the proxies from behind the cover of the front cars. The proxies inside had been killed either by the crash or the birds. The proxies shot back at us from behind their own cars. As long as they didn't get close I was fine.


Meanwhile behind us Alicia was shooting her shotgun empty on Socky. I could hear its screams. Alicia reloaded her gun. Socky took its chance and slammed its tentacle against her. She flew back against our car.

Me:"Holy shit! You okay Alicia?"
Alicia:"Yeah, ugh..You just keep your eyes on the proxies."
Me:"But... Oh right!"

I turned back around. The proxies were getting closer to Kyra and Echo. Echo kept them at bay with her screams. I started shooting at them again. Suddenly Kyra jumped out behind her cover and shot lightning out of her hands. I'm not kidding, frigging lightning!

I didn't know she could do that. I hope not all nests have that ability. 
A proxy snuck up on Echo from the side. I shot him in the head. The remaining few proxies suddenly got back in one of the cars and drove away. 

Me:"Yes! we got them!"

But then I turned around. Just in time to see Socky wrapping a tentacle around Alicia. She shot at him but missed."Goddamn it!" She shouted. I aim my gun at his head but he moved too fast. I yelled at Echo and Kyra to come help. It was too late.

Socky disappeared. Along with Alicia. I think it went into the path with her. I didn't know what to do after that.. I still can't believe I let this happen... I should have protected her.

The Ambush part I

The Proxies had been chasing us relentlessly for over a month. We wanted to shake them off for real this time. So we drove out as soon as the sun came up. The place looked like it was in the middle of nowhere. Just one road surrounded by trees. (No black leaves though. Luckily.)


I was nervous. As we got closer it only got worse. Kyra was in the back seat with Echo, trying to talk to her. She was kind of successful, Echo responded most of the time. With short sentences or a yes/no but still, she responded. Meanwhile Alicia was driving and I was in the front passenger seat trying to calm my nerves. But then suddenly, a Shine happened.

 Shine:"

Hakuna Matata!
What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata!
Ain't no passing craze~"

I'll never get used to those outbursts.. 

She just kept singing the song. I wanted to join in.. but that would have been silly.. Silly and fun..
I should have joined in. q.q

Shine is weird but funny. She picks the weirdest times to say something. Half of the time I jump up because its so unexpected. The only way I can tell if its Alicia or Shine talking is their voice. And I think her eyes change color too. Alicia's Olive green eyes become gray-ish. But its hard to be certain, can't get a good look at Shine's eyes. Because she doesn't sit still for a second.


In the middle of Shine's second song I suddenly got nauseous. I closed my eyes and saw ...

Me:"The Slender man!"
Shine:"Huh?"


I pointed ahead of us. In the middle of the road, he stood, waiting.

Alicia: "Shit."

She turned around the car and drove away as fast as possible. For a second I thought we were gonna turn over. I had to stop myself from vomiting. Kyra suddenly shouted:"That's not Slendy! It's Socky and he's gaining in on us, fast!"
At least it wasn't the Slender man but Socky isn't much better. We needed to get away from him before he wrecked our car.

Alicia:" Where the hell did those cars come from. This road was supposed to be quiet."
Me:"Proxies!"
Alicia:"They're ambushing us. Goddamn it."


Six cars were coming our way. They were blocking the entire road ahead. Alicia stepped on the brakes and stopped the car. So there we were, in the middle of nowhere. Trapped between a Sock and a hard place. 

=Veronica=

You remember how she helped us before with the proxies? Well, she stopped. I mean even her camper are gone. We've been running from base to base to get these proxies off our asses. And normally each base has at least one dormant camper. But now they're nowhere to be found. They just up and disappeared without any warning. I really don't trust this situation one bit.

We need to get Discordia and her goons off our asses. Because I just know some dangerous shit is about to go down any time now. You can feel the tension in the air around here.

No, sorry. That's just me. I ate something bad earlier.

...Not that kind of tension Shine.

Oh.

They just don't give up.

Ugh, these proxies just keep coming. There's too many of them to fight head on. They keep forcing us to run. I've got to hand it to Discordia, she knows what she's doing. We need a different plan of approach if we're gonna get anywhere.

It might take us a while to get back on track. So we won't be able to post a lot. Sorry guys.

We've just been busy shaking these annoying proxies off our cute asses. And then they broke our laptop. x.x
